Lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen has asked top lighting designer Paul Nulty to curate a photography exhibition based on the theme ’Design To Shape Light’, running the 10th – 26th October 2018. The result is a selection of twenty-one dramatically different photographs by some of Europe’s most innovative architects, designers and creatives, including: Iwan Baan, Tony Chambers, Jason Bruges and Christian Flindt.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) annual Photographic Competition, this year sponsored by The Sunday Times, has announced the winners from each of its nine distinct categories. Photographs will be on display for the first time at the RHS London Plant and Art Fair (10–12 July), and simultaneously at each of the four RHS Gardens (15 August- September). The exhibition will be a celebratory collection of some of the winning images, and shows the visual approach that entrants have undertaken.
Leica has revealed the 12 finalists vying for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA) 2018. This year, the prestigious award attracted entries from 2,500 professional photographers from 110 countries, each of whom submitted a series of 10-12 images demonstrating ‘the relationship between man and the environment’.
