The winners of the third USA Landscape Photographer of the Year have been revealed, with Portland based Alex Noriega scooping the top prize for his dramatic view of Mount Rainer in Washington (above). The stunning image was chosen from thousands of entries received from 40 countries, all celebrating the beauty and free spirit of the American landscape. 

Leading British landscape photographer and awards founder Charlie Waite said he had been ‘truly overwhelmed by the high quality, considered and finely crafted images’ entered into the competition. 

The title of Young Landscape Photographer of the Year was awarded to Raiatea Arcuri who captured coastal lava tubes along Hawaii’s Kona coast (above).
