Jason and Tracy's great challenge: five days left

Jason and Tracy Bould set themselves a unique challenge: to take 73 landscape photographs at 73 different locations around the Peak District in just 73 days. To complete their goal they’re using James Grant’s guidebook Peak District Through the Lens, which marks all the locations they aim to visit.

The reasoning behind their impressive mission was to raise money for a number of charities that helped them following the death of their daughter, Emily, shortly after she was born in February this year.

With just five days left of their challenge left, OP celebrates their success with an online photo gallery of our favourite pictures they’ve created so far. Turn to p8 in the latest OP (October issue, OP223) to read the full story.

Speaking of the project Jason says, ‘We both work full time so the logistics of the challenge are tough but it’s been a heart-warming experience seeing how the photographic community has got behind us. We’ll be holding an exhibition at the end of all this in late November at a local venue. There will be opportunity for people to purchase any of the prints, the proceeds of which will go to the charities.’

The couple have raised an amazing £9,418.60 so far.
