With the spring season almost around the corner, be inspired by horticulturist, photographer and writer Rosie Nixon’s selection of stunning flower imagery on show at Gallery Close in Edinburgh from 1 to 28 February.

Her first solo exhibition, the gallery owner Chris Close says: ‘In many ways Rosie is an undiscovered talent. I look at a lot of photography and was aware of floral studies by industry giants – such as Nick Knight and Robert Mapplethorpe – so when I stumbled across Rosie’s work I was very excited by it.’
