Wildscreen Panda Awards has launched a new category, the Wildscreen Photo Story Panda Award, to celebrate the importance of storytelling in image-making. Professional and amateur photographers can submit between six to ten nature-related images that have a clear and powerful narrative weaved into the set. There is an early bird discount of 50% off the standard entry fee for submissions before the 25 April.

Lucie Muir, Wildscreen’s Director says: ‘There’s no better time for Wildscreen to recognise the craft of wildlife and environmental photographers in telling nature’s stories, side-by-side and united with the world’s best filmmakers. Our community of talented storytelling professionals are transforming the way people see and understand nature, they are our eyes on our natural world and a voice for those that cannot speak, and it’s our role to celebrate and thank them.’

Photographers have until 8 June to enter this year’s Wildscreen Panda Awards. Enter before 25 April for your early bird discount.

The overall winner will be revealed at the Wildscreen Panda Awards ceremony on Friday 19 October.
