Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD
Sandisk has released the next generation of its portable SSD line-up, built to support larger file sizes and increasingly demanding digital workflows. In the middle tier is the Extreme Portable SSD, which delivers nearly twice the speed of its predecessor, with read speeds of up to 2,000MB/sec – enabling users to transfer up to 1,000 high-resolution photos in under 60 seconds. For those with more intensive multi-stream workflows, the Extreme Pro Portable SSD, due to be released later this year, has impressive transfer speeds of up to 4,000MB/s.
