Shoot great summer landscapes

While summer may not be landscape photographers’ favourite time of year, there are numerous ways you can get creative, from using polarisers to shooting after dark, says Drew Buckley.

With its long days of harsh, flat light and painfully early starts, you’d be forgiven for thinking that summertime is a less productive time of year. Many photographers will say it’s their least favourite season, with some even hanging their photographic hats up until summer has passed. However, if you go with the flow and work with what you’re given, summer has some unique aspects that no other season can offer.
