Opening on Thursday (9 October) at the Quay Gallery in Suffolk, ‘Preservation’ will include Ruth’s ground-level studies and sweeping aerial views, from Iceland’s braided glacial rivers to the coasts and woodlands of the UK.

Caroline’s abstract paintings, meanwhile, draw on fieldwork, archival research and Japanese wabi-sabi principles. Her Reeds series captures the beauty and impermanence of Britain’s wetland habitats, while Tenacity reframes the overlooked dandelion as a symbol of resilience and ecological value.
The exhibition highlights the power of close observation and creative interpretation as a form of preservation.
