This summer, for the first time, Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire will play host to an exhibition of images from the Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) awards. The National Trust property was once the home of photography pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot.

Submitted by amateur and professional photographers, the award-winning images were chosen from entries from almost 100 countries in 2013. Highlights will include Timothy Allen’s stunning portfolio of images of the replastering of the mud mosque in Djenne, Mali.

The exhibition runs until 12 July, daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm, in the Tudor courtyard at Lacock Abbey. National Trust members and children under five years old go free. For more information go to nationaltrust.org.uk/lacock and find out more about Travel Photographer of the Year at tpoty.com.
